How can I get you my artwork?
You can email it across to your account handler or ‘sales@ukflyers.com‘.
For larger files we would recommend using our direct ‘we transfer’ link here.

Tell me about customer care?
Many people hate call centres – us included. So every customer will have their own account handler assigned to them – so future orders, new promotions or dare i say it – any problems can be discussed with someone who knows all about your business & previous orders.

We’re not a faceless company, and still hold traditional values for customer care and overseeing jobs from start to finish.

How can I pay for my order?
We have removed the online shopping aspect from our new website. Therefore all new orders are made directly with your account handler. You can pay by debit (no charge) or credit card (2% surcharge) over the phone, bank transfer, or you can apply to set up a 28 day invoice account with us. We’re sorry but we no longer accept cheques.

What’s the best file format to supply artwork to you?
For most of our work, we prefer CMYK PDF files at 300 DPI (resolution) – these work across multi platforms and are industry standard. High resolution JPEG or TIFF files are also acceptable.

For die cuts, t shirts, and some signage we would recommend EPS vectored files – but please feel free to call us to discuss any file question you have.

Are flyers printed double sided?
Yes all our flyers are printed full colour double sided on 300gsm silk board.

Digital printing & litho printing?
We use both print technologies, depending on the product & time schedule:

For digital printing – Artwork is sent to a digital press – this is similar to a laser printer, but with far greater quality & with greater choice of stocks etc). This means we can eliminate some of the traditional costs associated with ‘traditional printing’ and makes smaller quantities more cost & time effective. Perfect for: stickers, short runs of flyers & menus, badges, mugs, tickets, posters etc.

For litho printing – this is the traditional way to print & offers great quality over very large print runs. Printing plates are created from the approved artwork and then fitted onto the lithographic printing presses, these plates then push the ink onto a rubber roller, which then is transferred onto the paper. Perfect for: brochures, long print runs of flyers, menus etc.

Deliveries?
For local customers on the island, we will deliver to you in our van. For customers further afield throughout the UK we alternate between Interlink and APC couriers. Deliveries are made by next day courier between 9am and 5pm. We can send through information to you to help track your deliveries. Our delivery costs vary depending on the weight of the product. Please speak to your account handler to get an accurate quote for your delivery. As an example, 2500 A5 flyers will cost approx £18 to deliver, whilst 250 A4 will cost approx £10 to deliver. We can send your items on a pre 10.30am, a pre noon, and a Saturday scheduled delivery for an additional fee. Very large orders would be sent with a pallet company to help keep costs to you to a minimum. A pallet delivery costs at least £50.

Damaged deliveries?
Obviously we hope this never happens, but in the unlikely event of a damaged consignment – please make sure you sign for them as ‘damaged’ with the courier at the point of delivery and contact your account handler as soon as possible to discuss the replacement options available & time schedules.

How environmentally friendly are UK Flyers?
We’re very conscious of the potential environmental damage that can occur with any business. All our standard flyer stock is FSC (forestry standards commission) approved, and we have been awarded FSC certification as a responsible supplier. All the inks used for lithographic printing are vegetable based and the presses are state of the art, to keep energy expenditure to a minimum. We also recycle all our paper waste locally.
