Improved Print Processes

In production, new presses and plate making machines mean that the quality of our printing is constantly improving. Printing as an industry is changing rapidly at the moment and to keep up, we have purchased state of the art technology. We have also signed a contract that guarantees all of our output will be on quality branded paper. We could take the option that some printers do and use cheaper ‘clearance’ bulk paper, but the quality varies and we believe (unlike some discount firms) that we should offer everyone the same high production values.

Environmentally sustainable products

UK Flyers is working hard to balance & minimise the industrial demands placed on the environment by printing.

We are proud to have been granted FSC Trademark License no: FSC-N001548 in recognition of this.

As well as offering flyers printed on recycled paper, you can be assured that our standard products are as environmentally friendly as possible for the following reasons:

All of our paper is branded so we know where it comes from.
Our paper supplier only uses pulp that comes from a source that is guaranteed to be sustainable.
Essential Velvet (Our usual stock for flyer printing) is fully biodegradeable and is produced from chlorine free pulp.

All our paper stocks are certified as being from sustainable sources by the FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council).

Inline with improvements in the UK print industry, all of our inks are vegetable based. They come from natural sources and do not contain chemicals harmful to the environment.

We use state of the art presses which are fast, accurate and very efficient. Printing is accomplished in a minimum of time. Power is not wasted as it would be with older slower, more traditional printing presses.

Any paper that is used by the company whether in our office or as a by product of the printing process is recycled locally to save on energy consumption.
